Tour Plan

01

Day 01 : Arrival at Cochin and Cochin Sightseeing

Today, on your arrival at Cochin airport in the morning you will escort by our company’s representative. You will first check into a hotel and freshen up. Later a full day of sightseeing is arranged for a city tour. You will be spending the entire day looking at the commercial capital of Kerala where the day is planned to see so many interesting attractions. This includes a visit to Fort Kochi-a region with unmatchable architectural style and town planning, the Jewish Synagogue – an oldest synagogue in all the Commonwealth of Nations, the Dutch Palace- featuring Kerala murals which shows away the traditional Hindu temple art, portraits and exhibits of the Rajas of Kochi and Chinese fishing nets- fixed land installations that is an usual setting of the fishing that we have known. Later at night, an overnight stay for the couples to rest and enjoy the pleasant ambiance of this city.

Day 02 : Cochin – Munnar Sightseeing (130 km)

After an early morning breakfast, you will be travelling to Munnar. On your arrival there, check-in to the assigned hotel. Later, enjoy afternoon refreshment and drive for a sightseeing in and around Munnar, which is famously known as the Kashmir of South India. Your visit here will include the magnificent and fresh tea, spice and coffee plantation, winding lanes and trekking landscapes. The most famous spices that are natively cultivated in Munnar are cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, garlic, vanilla, black pepper, white pepper, etc. Also, an evening visit to the Anamudi, Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam, Mattupetty is planned. After that, we will be heading back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03 : Munnar – Thekkady (90 km)

After a morning breakfast, proceed for Thekkady (Periyar). The imagination of the word Thekkady brings up images of giant elephants, unending trials of hills and spice-scented plantations all across the entire land wherever you see. The Periyar forest situated in Thekkady is one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves in India and spread across the entire town are magnificent plantations and hill that are known for hosting treks and mountain walks. On your arrival at Thekkady, transfer to the hotel overlooking these beautiful hills. The Rest of the day is free for leisure and strutting the streets of this romantic city.

Day 04 : Thekkady – Alleppey (175 km)

After breakfast, you will be driven to Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha, and famously known as the ‘Venice of the East.’ A town with beyond beautiful canals, backwaters & lagoons, it has a wonderful past and owes its wonderful yet remarkable existence to the reasonable Diwan Raja Kesavadas in the second half of the 18th century. If we were to believe the history, it says that Alappuzha had trade relations with ancient Greece & Rome during the Before Christ era of human life. Alleppey is now a collection for backwater tourism in Kerala. On arrival, we board onto a Houseboat, regionally called Kettuvellam. The day is free from plannings, which means couples are free to enjoy the entire place, however, is it that they wish to do so.

Day 05 : Alleppey – Kumarakom (32 km)

After an early breakfast, we check out from our houseboats and enjoy a ride to the next destination- Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a picturesque village situated on the banks of the mighty Vembanad Lake. On your arrival, you will be directly going to pay a visit to the interesting Kumarakom bird sanctuary and feel lucky to be seeing a variety of species of colorful as well migratory birds in the park; some of which are even endangered. This bird sanctuary is also termed as Ornithologist’s Paradise. Post your visit to the Sanctuary, you will be driven to the hotel and free to roam around for your own pleasure as you please with an overnight stay at the hotel pre-booked.

Day 06 : Kumarakom – Kovalam Leisure (177 km)

After breakfast, you will be asked to check out from the hotel and driven off to Kovalam. After a few days of soothing your eyes seeing the mighty hills and a land full of trees and plantations; Kovalam is globally tourism, attracting place having three beaches lined up altogether in a crescent shape. It has been a favorite hunt of tourists, especially the English and Dutch. Later the day is open for free leisure with a per usual hotel booking arranged for an overnight stay.

Day 07 : Kovalam – Trivandrum and departure

As you enjoy your last morning in Kerala, after your breakfast you will be driven back to the Trivandrum airport to catch your flight for onward journey or back home.
