A full day sightseeing with a professional Guide to cover the highlights of Old and New Delhi. After breakfast, you visit the main sights of Old Delhi - Visit the historic RED FORT (FROM OUTSIDE ONLY) – Shah Jehan’s elegant citadel in red sandstone. Very near the Fort is the JAMA MASJID (Mosque), India’s largest mosque built by Shah Jahan, I suggest you to take an interesting rickshaw ride through the famous bazaars of Chandini Chowk, which is adjacent to both the Fort and the Mosque. Also visit RAJ GHAT – the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

Afternoon: Sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Visit the QUTAB MINAR, a Tower of Victory which was built in the 12th century by Qutbuddin Aibak. Within its spacious courtyard stands the Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD and bears a Sanskrit inscription in the Gupta style. It is one of the UNESCO monument. Humayun’s Tomb which is one of the well preserved Mughal monument. This tomb built based on the Persian architecture and some Indian style architecture can also be seen here. Also, visit INDIA GATE, the memorial of the First World War and the road that leads from there to RASHTRAPATHI BHAWAN – the residence of the President of India, which is flanked by the houses of Parliament and the Government Secretariat buildings. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 03 : DELHI –AGRA

Four hour morning drive to Agra - On arrival check into your hotel and refresh yourself and then proceed for the sightseeing along with your Guide. Visit Agra Fort which is also known as the “Lal –Qila”, “Fort Rouge” or “Qila –I-Akbari”. It is one of the highlights of the city of Agra. It is the 16th century Mughal Monument which is very near to the world famous Taj Mahal. It is an UNESCO World Heritage site. Later visit one of the seven wonders of the world Taj Mahal, built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, in the memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is located on the banks of the river Yamuna. Your time at the Taj will not be rushed, allowing you to spend as much as you want, prior to the sunset closing time to absorb the atmosphere of this incredibly special place. Overnight in Agra.

Option to revisit the Taj Mahal at dawn (the best time to visit depends on the time of year) Later depart Agra and drive to Jaipur the ‘Pink City’ and also the capital city of Rajasthan. Enroute Visit Fatehpur Sikri which is one of the best preserved Mughal sites in India with a series of ornate structures reflecting the glorious past of the empire which ruled much of northern India and modern day Pakistan from this region. The capital at Fatehpur didn’t last long as it was abandoned due to acute water shortages and as a result it looks pretty much as it must’ve done when it was in its pomp, around 430 years ago. Later continue your drive to Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur, check in at the hotel and relax rest of the day. Overnight in Jaipur.

A full day around Jaipur beginning with a visit to AMBER FORT, otherwise referred as Amber Palace, Amer Fort. It was declared as one of the UNESCO world heritage sites. It is located in a small town known as Amer which is 11km away from the main city of Jaipur. Here you should not miss the Elephant Ride to reach the top of the palace. This journey on embellished elephants is bound to enrich your memories with the Royal lifestyle of the Maharajas and leave you with a truly unforgettable experience. Inside the Fort you have so many attractions to visit. One of the important attractions is the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace), or Jai Mandir or "Water Temple" which is a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. Then the City Palace Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1729-1732. It’s a beautiful palace and the architectural style of this palace followed the combination of Rajput and Mughal architectures. This was the former Royal residence, part of it is converted into an Art museum. A small portion known as Chandra Mahal is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur and this is not for the public to visit. Next visit Jantar Mantar which is otherwise known as Observatory. This site is designed to observe the astronomical positions with the naked eye. It houses a collections of Astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, Rajasthan in the early 18th century. Visit Hawa Mahal otherwise referred as Palace of Breeze or the Palace of winds, built in the year 1799. Since Purdah system was strictly followed in the beginning, Royal Ladies were not permitted to come out and also they have to hide themselves from the strangers and the general public. So through these windows they observe the regular happenings in the streets or any festivals or any processions. On the outside walls one can find 953 windows. Today all the visitors would like to have a brief photography stop at HAWA MAHAL. Overnight in Jaipur.

Today drive back to Delhi and you will be transferred directly to the Delhi airport as per your departure schedule for your onward journey and your Tour Ends!
